Some of Iowa's children need help developing skills for managing
their behaviors, and coping with mental health needs.
This web is targeted at Iowa’s providers of behavioral
health services and others interested in the well-being of children.
These
children are the friends,
neighbors, parents and decision-makers of the future. Working together, we
are a tremendous force for helping children discover the skills that
will give them the ability to cope, and/or make changes that otherwise might
never be possible.
Within this web you will find information on Iowa's Children’s
Mental Health (CMH) Waiver, including
details of service
provision, training requirements, treatment standards, links to behavioral
health and related child webs, and a variety of other resources for
providers, caregivers and case managers. We
hope you will find it useful in addressing the behavioral health needs of
the children and families you serve.
