You may qualify for EITC if you worked at any time last year.

If you have at least two children or dependents and earned less than $41,952, you could get as much as $5,236.

If you have one child and earned less than $36,920, you could get as much as $3,169.

Even if you do nothave any children and earned less than $13,980, you could get as much as $475.

Income limits for married workers are $5,210 higher.

Copies of all W-2 and 1099 tax forms you received.

Proof of Social Security numbers or ITINs for family members on your return.

A copy of your tax return from last year.

Address and tax identification for any child care provider.
The EITC does not affect eligibility for public benefits, such as Medicaid, Food Assistance, cash assistance such as FIP, Child Care Assistance, or subsidized housing.
