Foster Group Care Services Provider Handbook
In December 2008 the Department issued an update on the foster group care request for proposal (RFP) and a decision to seek broader input from community partners before it was published.
With the decision to slow the process down and examine where foster group care is headed in the future, the department proposed interim foster group care rules which eliminated the remaining unnecessary rehabilitative treatment services rules, found in chapter 441-185, and revised the current contracting rules, found in chapter 441-152.
With the change in rules, adopted and effective July 1, 2009, new Foster Group Care Services contracts are also being executed for July 1, 2009.
The final phase of this process was to update the FGCS Provider Handbook.
